A school management system (School ERP) from Kikavu Tech Solutions costs TZS 2,000,000 to 7,000,000 per year. The price depends on the modules and integrations you choose, not on the number of students.
What decides the price
- Modules. Our School ERP has eight modules: student information, fees and finance, attendance, academics and exams, staff and HR, parent portal and mobile app, communication center and library. Fewer modules sit closer to TZS 2,000,000; all modules with integrations sit closer to TZS 7,000,000.
- Integrations. M-Pesa fee payments, SMS notifications to parents and NECTA results integration.
- Colleges and universities. Multi-faculty setups and custom modules are quoted as a custom annual price.
Why price by modules and not by students
A school with 300 students may need every module, while a school with 1,000 students may only need fees and results at first. Pricing by modules lets you start with what you need today and add more later, instead of paying for a student count.
What to ask every vendor
- Is the price per year or a one-time licence, and what happens in year two?
- Are setup, training, SMS and hosting included or charged separately?
- Can parents pay fees by M-Pesa and get an automatic receipt?
- How long is the warranty after launch, and what support hours do you get?
- Can you talk to a school that already uses the system?
How we quote
Tell us the modules you want. Our written quotation itemises setup, training, SMS and hosting, so you see what is included and what is separate. Payment can be by bank transfer, M-Pesa or cash, in stages (deposit, then balance). Every project includes a warranty of 3, 6 or 12 months depending on project size.
